The Stargate project intended to invest $500 billion in United States AI infrastructure over four years.
Stargate's participants publicly announced an immediate $100 billion deployment and an intended total investment of $500 billion over four years. This supports the stated plan, not a guarantee that the full amount would ultimately be spent.
Stargate would create more than 100,000 American jobs almost immediately.
The consortium projected hundreds of thousands of jobs, but the job total and timing were forecasts that could not be established when Trump made the claim.
Trump had already secured nearly $3 trillion in new United States investments by his first full business day.
