What the evidence supports
The car-loan-interest deduction is limited to vehicles made in America.
Trump said the deduction applies only if the car is made in America. IRS guidance supports the core condition: qualified vehicles must have final assembly in the United States, though the broader deduction also has a $10,000 annual cap and income phaseouts.
Biden and Democrats created the worst inflation in 48 years.
Trump repeated this in the Milford remarks. FactCheck.org and BLS context show the Biden-era CPI peak of 9.1% in June 2022 was the largest 12-month increase since November 1981, roughly four decades, not 48 years, and it was not a record.
